Boot camps work. They work for our armed forces. They work for fitness trainers. And, they work for me. When a behavioral, organizational, or spiritual issue arises we turn to boot camp parenting in our house. I identify the issue and research how to solve it. Then, we implement these strategies to overcome whatever obstacle we are trying to conquer. I don't work on multiple issues at a time, but rather, I use a hyper-focused form of parenting to correct the main issue in a shorter amount of time. Boot camps are defined as short, intensive, and rigorous courses of training. Our armed forces rely on them and expect recruits who have successfully completed the boot camp to be polished, tough and competent to face any challenge. Enable your children in the same way!
